I received my B.F.A. from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, belong to the Salmagundi Club, NYC, and teach at the National Art League, NY. I sell/exhibit my work nationally/internationally and am the recipient of numerous art awards.
I enjoy traditional and design-based drawing. My drawings are deeply personal with a focus on the nuanced beauty found in form, light/shadow, and math patterns found in nature. I work in graphite and ink to create emotive and timeless imagery.
Oil and acrylic are my favorite painting mediums, and scapes are my favorite genre. I enjoy painting plein air and studio-generated images, richly textured with lush color and dramatic light to evoke feelings ranging from nostalgia to timelessness.
